I did just change my name yesterday. Long story - and since I deleted it, too - I'll be slowly putting it all back together again, as a "story".

Gaining Strength:
Hey Kelly - I am glad you are doing well.  It is so weird that some things never seem to change.  My mother is in the last stages of her life and my brothers have become worse than I ever expected.  My oldest brother was speaking to me on Sunday but today is no longer speaking.  He and my other brother have decided that they can make all the decisions surrounding my mothers death, funeral and estate and even though my mother on her death bed asked my oldest brother not to exclude me and to speak to me he refused..  What happened between Sunday and today?  I have no idea, except that my other brother and I got into a fist fight because he decided that he can take my mother's phone and turn it off and not allow me access to her friends phone numbers.  I have had numerous calls from her friends who are unable to call her. She has even asked him to return her phone and he refuses.  What a nasty pair.  I am working hard to turn it all over and let go of fear and resentment.  Glad to see you posting.

Do you know  what happened to the business after you and your mother sold it?

So let me get this straight.  Are your brothers Ns?  I knew your father was.  Is your mother??

As far as the business goes, we sold it to some friends two years ago in March.  Coincidentally the last day open was yesterday.

They didn't have the financial resources to fund it so it went down the tubes.  They could have done a lot of things better but with no capital they really had no way of getting through the lean times.

Sixty nine years open between 3 owners.  The original owners had it 50 years.  We had it 17 and the last family for 2.
