At last, a cure for voicelessness in women!

Dr. Richard Grossman:
A subliminal noise generator. Don’t tell me you’ve never heard of a subliminal noise generator!
OK, you can read all about it here:

Men cannot use this technique because if/when they do they become blowhards.

Hmmmm.... does that mean we could all just carry around something that makes us feel uncomfortable?
In my case, a clown puppet with teeth.
Just pull it out, and sit there, staring at me, whenever I need to toot my own horn?
I guess the black box would be less creepy, huh?

sKePTiKal:
--- Quote ---... the “subliminal noise generator” allowed women to blame the device for their feelings of discomfort from being immodest.
--- End quote ---
Kinda says it all, huh?
There's so much gunk and goo in that part of the sentence... that I relate to! LOL...
Hopalong:
Tinnitus is kind of a subliminal noise generator,
and makes me more waspish. I never asked myself whether
when my tinnitus is up I am more outspoken at work -- but
I do have some toughness and speak truth to power at
times (not always, ain't that brave).
Maybe my courage has only appeared on ear-roaring days and I
never made the connection!
Hmm, interesting study, Doc G
:)
Hops
Meh:
Yah I've got the ringing in the ears also, I wonder what it would be like not to have it
