PD's appeal of custody and visitation

(1/2) > >>

is in.

It's interesting they're basically accusing the trial Judge of being biased, and obstructionist....

of doing what they, themselves, have done, in other words.

It never ceases to amaze me.....

all the loud, thrashing about of pd's when they harm other people, then demand sympathy for themselves.

::shaking head::

And repeating every untrue statement they ever made, over and over again.

::crossing eyes::

I've determined that filing complaints against opposing counsel, and the witness they tampered with during the course of the trial, has zero downside at this juncture.  Perhaps even an upside.

Opposing counsel will be hiring his own attorney to defend himself, and that seems right.   ::nod::

I'm thinking you are sounding on the upside, but first, What is "pd"? --not Police Dept? It was in another post of yours and I should have asked then.

Maybe I will understand better.

lighter:
Izzy... pd is short for someone with a personality disorder.

I never know who has which pd, so I don't refer to them as N's anymore.

Oh, Lighter.  What happens now, in practical terms?  Do you have to go back to court yourself or is this done without you needing to be there.  Any ideas how long for a judge to reach a decision?  Do they just look at whether the previous judge followed the appropriate procedures etc or do they look at the entire case again.

What an absolute pain they are.  Is this the last appeal they can do or is there another if they lose this one as well?

I understand completely what you mean about the way they behave - absolutely no sense of self awareness or relative normality as seen by other people.

I am crossing my fingers that you don't have to do too much this time? xx

Tupp:

No more court, we just respond to the pd's brief with our own, then the appellate court rules.

We anticipate the Order will stand.

It's a devastating Order against the pd's,btw.  And peppered with the pd's own words, and admitted actions.  Ouch.

In fact, the truth is so unpleasant, the trial judge is being accused of being biased, and having a prejudice against the pd's.

Doc G, I'm reminded of how difficult it is to tell the unvarnished truth about toxic pd's, and not find yourself being punished for it.
