Granted you're being careful in what you say here, and that none of us can know all the ins/outs of what's going on... it sounds (to me) that you know what you want. And that others think this might be a tad too much/too far.

My response would be: OH REALLY?

If you need this agreement to finally have peace... then, I think you already know that.
And if the monsters & their sycophants are playing games... (incompetence notwithstanding)... you are still entitled to want what you want here. Even if that's an inconvenience to your attorneys.

But on the other hand, if the agreement still doesn't give you what you need (and yes, I think I can see why you think it won't) well then, wrap this venture up as neatly as possible and just be done with it. Save your energy for anything else bizarre you think the monsters might dream up.

I've decided to settle, bc the main body of my attorney's fees have gone to cover my arse, and procure title insurance no one wanted to issue.  The reason they didn't want to issue was bc of all the criminal shenanigans my Interpersonal Terrorists  or ITs (better than monsters, IMO) pulled years ago, and that's not the sycophant's fault.

IF I mounted up, and charged it would only please the ITs, and that's not my goal.

My goal is to get out as quickly as can be managed without further compromising my position, and strengthening the IT's.

So.... if this thing settles... I'll let it.
