Darn Ns They ARE Everywhere!!!
« on: August 05, 2005, 04:34:15 AM »
I just "bumped" into another N on a support list I thought of quitting. She's one of moderators and now I know I'll be leaving the list for sure.

Sometimes it feels like they are crawling out of the wood pile. :x  :(

Well, there's one less thing to take up my time. :)

This interaction proves to me I'm not ready to get out "there" to form new relationships yet. I hate it when I find another N in my life. I wonder how they get there.

I've realized that every relationship I have had in the 15 years has been with a N.

Well I best be Sallying Forth from that list and onto a new adventure ...   :)

I'm Sallying Forth on a new adventure! :D :D :D

Yes they are, aren't they!

I have the feeling sometimes that Ns will push themselves out in front in almost any setting because they are so determined to get ALL the attention. So to meet the non-Ns you have to find a way to detour around the N in the doorway. And then keep dodging them, because only the 'alpha N' gets the doorway, all the lower ranking Ns have to vie for attention inside the room.

Jeez, no wonder I don't want to go out anywhere these days ;-)

Therapy helped me understand what I need to do in these situations. Trust my intuition about people.[/u] I usually get a gut feeling -- sometimes a punched-in-the-gut feeling when I "meet" a possible N. I'm learning when I do I need stop all associations with that person.

The sad part is this moderator advocates something which isn't healthy. She then promotes that. I get an icky feeling when I read her posts. Her philosophy, "Do as I say, not as I do" is all too familiar.
