New Years Resolutions
« on: January 01, 2007, 04:16:21 PM »
Hey All,

Just wanted to post my new years resolutions and make them real...

To discover some likes and dislikes of my very own
To finish decorating this house and sell it in the spring to make a fresh start
To stop trying to get men to love me and to try and love myself
To just take some time to discover who I am

I am posting them here then I will have to update and I can monitor my progress, hopefully with a bit of help from you lot...

To stop thinking about the Ns at all.  Instead, fill up my brain and heart with worthier people and activities.

Pennyplant!!! Yes!!!!

I am starting to be bored with my own thoughts.

I only had the nerve to sign up for one online class--but it does start on Thursday and I am hoping that my brain still works.

Happy 2007 all!

Mine is: To develop a healthier lifestyle ( of eating, excercising, sleeping, relaxing, etc) and really concentrate on getting myself into better condition........physically and emotionally.   I feel like I've finished grieving now (and also like I've been hit by a bus) .

Plus........I love your's Penny!  I want to fill my thoughts with good stuff/worthy stuff and focus on those kinds of people too, in my life.  Thankyou for sharing and putting it into words like that.

to learn discipline

My new years resolution is to like myself and stop putting everyone else first.
to do more fun things with friends.
To make the kids do more to help.
To stop loving someone who has treated me badly.

Hi Sela and all!!!

Sela, I am glad the bussed has passed over you and now you can scrape yourself off the pavement and Stay in the Crosswalk this Time

These are all great resolutions and mine pretty much mirror all of yours...

I want to accept myself and like myself and feel more confident about myself  which will need to include becoming more fit and eating better.
I want to start going to more AA meetings because I need to be spreading the word that life is good to newcomers.

These are my two biggest. I only want to put down that which I really intend to do. Making a list of things I'd just like to do and then gaffing it off is pointless. I fear that sometimes... my parents are big on saying things and never going through with them.

Love to all of you and the wish that all your resolutions will come to pass easily and quickly replace old habits in your lives.

Love, Beth
