Dear Towrite,
Your story was devastating to read, I cannot comprehend the incessant cruelty of your deranged mother.

The other thing that stayed with me was how amazingly well told it is. Like deeply felt literature, told with a care that only those in the most meaningful and dangerous truth-telling exhibit.

There has been so much at stake. Your survival to me comes through in the great courage of your writing. There is no substitute for the gravity and dignity of your voice.

I have enormous respect for you. And I know your capacity for contentment will grow with every day of your life.

Dear towrite,

Please allow me to acknowledge your story and celebrate the courage it took to put it to pen.  It is a horrific story.  I feel heartsick at the horrors you endured.  Then I must ask for time to handle my own feelings about your story.  So I have to stop here and not go to a place in my mind that I can't handle now and have in fact begged God to spare me from visiting.

Towrite,  my best, most caring thoughts and prayers are with you.

towrite you are a dear heart and have endured so much from small and twisted spirits.  Thank you for your courageous sharing.

towrite,

Thank goodness for your grandparents, and that you are able to use the word "beloved".

Dear towrite,
I want to encourage you to keep sharing and keep coming back so that you can "exorcise" the vestiges of what they did to you.
Your spirit and kindness shines through your posts.Everything was their loss and their stupidity that they could not appreciate and treasure a darling little girl.
What strikes me from everyone's story( and my own) is how much responsibility we took and still TAKE for what the abusers did to us.
We personalize their abuse . We take on the shame .We take on the worthlessness. We carry it on like loads and loads on our poor backs.
It IS NOT ours and was never  ours ..    Love         Ami
