Feeling a spirt of energy coming my way

I think I'm about to:

Start eating healthier, when I can, and not beat myself up for eating for emotional reasons.

Excercising more.  I feel like doing it.  Not forcing myself to do it. 

Drinking more water..... taking vitamins regularly.

Starting out with protein powder every morning.

Getting involved in cool art projects with my children as a matter of habit.

I feel these things coming to meet me.  I don't feel as though I'll be chasing them as they stay just out of reach, which will be a welcome change.

Hi Lighter,

Perhaps you can look at it as just starting new habits. The first week or two is tough but then, with patience, we are in a routine which can be hard to break, at least for me.

Peace and prayers for you, I'm sure you will acomplish your goals. I look forward to the thread when you tell us how well you are doing.

I've been through all this many times.

I've been a bit buried by lack of energy for a while.... since Christmas really.

It's about time for this rebuilding.

Funny how sometimes we're busy and happy and we're eating healthy, lives full effortlessly and blessed.

But when things aren't balanced.... when just getting out of bed is something I dread.... when sleep is all I crave.....

this is where I start.

Maybe a good cry in the shower after the kids have gone off to school.... then a return to familiar habits of self care.

Welp.... I didn't eat better or do anthing I needed to.....

for myself.

I did, however, make sure my children ate lovely protein the last 2 mornings....... and fresh friut.

That brought me a lot of satisfaction and one good feeling leads to another. 

It's all good and only going to feel better as I keep putting good habits back in place.
