Lollie, All I can say after reading this, is that I really think you are a genius. I personally am working on my ability to put a wide cushion of space around myself, and to give plenty of space to others. I have spent a lifetime reacting to other people's drama and emotions.

Heart,

As much as I would like to take credit for being a "genius," Medium Chill isn't something that I came up with myself. Over the past two years, I have been on other boards as I tried to heal from the damaging toll my father's untreated BPD took on me. I picked up the technique there. Medium Chill is wisdom that has been passed from adult child of PD'd parent to adult child of PD'd parent. I'm glad to have the opportunity to pas it on, but it's not "my" creation.

I don't want to hijack polymath's thread, so I can post more about it in the Medium Chill thread I started in "What Helps" if you'd like to talk about it more.
