N Sister-in-law at It Again
« on: March 28, 2010, 06:29:22 PM »
My DH's sister is at her dastardly deeds again. She's acting as if her aunt is dead already, trying to sell off the furniture. This woman is sooooo frustrating. She is a very odd woman and treats her aunt with disdain, considering the house she lives in right now was given to her by this aunt. We are not talking cheap house either. But no matter, this sister-in-law can never seem to have enough of her aunt's money and things.

My DH and I were sickened by the prospect of his sister selling furniture out from under their aunt while she's dying. It literally left me with sleeplessness for several days. I am quite disturbed by the sister's behavior.

This isn't the first time she has acted like this and won't be the last.

DH's aunt is the most generous, giving, and loving person I've ever met. She treats me like family, much better than my family ever treated me.

That's a good idea mud. I am sure that what she is doing is not legal.
So sorry you have to deal with her, Sally.

Beth has a good idea. Keep it anonymous as well. It has been my experience that they never change and family and friends can not mediate disputes because the N will just stir up animosity between those individuals and others. There is no end to the lies they will tell.
