My book, if I get it done--new idea

I have decided that the best way I can put things to paper is to have "another me".... I'll call her Mary or Jane.....and whenever a totally wrong choice/decision/action/whatever has been taken by me, the next paragraph is what the WISER Mary or Jane would have done.

Izzy kept dating the "legally separated" man

Mary would have said, "Get your divorce then see if there is anything between us. <a**hole> She can be kind or crabby, as she would me be if I had known better.

and the comparison shows the path in life that Izzy ought to have taken.

I have begun it already and it's working out fine so far, as Mary's italics save me a mess of 'explaining'.

Gawd! I hope I can make it as 'funny' as my life has been, and see what kind of a message I can deliver.

Hey Iz...

a book sounds like a great idea! And you can self-publish way easier these days...
there are lots of online places that do "demand printing" from a file these days and if you only want one copy... well the cost/benefit doesn't work out as well... but then you also don't have the promotion and marketing costs.

I've not looked into these, so I couldn't tell ya what it costs or how they charge (by the page??) I don't know if there's any pre-press "rules" to adhere to... you know, for typesetting layout.

But I have seen the photo websites offer books from uploaded images and they're actually pretty affordable.
