No really didn't have a "wonderful celebration" and am glad tomorrow will be a day where there is not some heightened sense of MUST BE wonderful
my room mate decided that her son is infested with scabies and left a gigantic pile of undone laundry sitting in the middle of one of the first floor rooms .... lol.... how merry and quaint.. and am wondering when it will be cleaned up

yay back to regular now, people can go into brag-about-what-they-received for Christmas mode, and then onto woo-hooo- I am so--drunk because it's a happy new year mode

Thank you Lighter, Twoapenny, Hopalong and Green Bean. For me wonderful is quiet and drama free. We had our family celebration with my husbands side the weekend before Christmas instead of our usual Christmas Eve get together and that was nice. It freed up the holiday for us. It was just my husband, children and I for Christmas Eve & Christmas, very low-key. I saw my Foo for the first time in years at my brothers wedding in November, one of my N-sisters invited us over for Christmas Eve...I very nicely declined but we will see them tomorrow. My normal brother that I love will be visiting with his new wife over the weekend, the family is getting together to go out to dinner with them. We are going because I finally feel strong enough to be around them without getting triggered or sucked in. I have the wonderful people here on the board sharing their experiences to thank for that! @ Green Bean sorry you're dealing with that! Scabies mites can be killed if they are sealed in a bag for at least seven days. Tell that roommate to bag up the clothes or wash them so it doesn't spread! I might have to get into a slight New Years mode too before I see the family tomorrow night tomorrow night. lol Happy New Years & may there be better years ahead!!

New Years, my resolution is something like "be more neutral"
