i am overwhelmed and so grateful to find this forum - i am 52 years old, female, and want to present to you my mother, a "southern belle" narcissist, born and raised in Virginia - i have survived, somehow, in spite of her - don't feel up to saying much more now, but thank you, thank you for being here!

Hi Pinecone.

I hope you will be able to share your story at some point.

As an EX of a N (we had two children together 4 and 7 now) I would like to gain some understanding from people like you who were victimized by their N parents so I can better look out for my children when they visit Dad.

Sorry to hear that you had to grow up with a N mother. I can't imagine how your childhood must have been and how it has impacted your adult life.
