I notice that when some of you guys post a reply you include a litle window which contains a previous posters statement to which you refer- That is cool! How do you do that exactly ?

I usually just cut & paste the bit I'm relating to...but I think there is a little spech bubble allows you to quote the whole post.

John,

To quote someone else:

1. Highlight what you want to copy.  Right click your mouse and click copy.

2.  Move the cursor to where you want to insert the quote.  Right click paste.

3.  Highlight the pasted item and choose quote from the menu above.

Voila you have a quote.  Hope this helps.

Did you remember to highlight the quoted words and left click "Quote" from the menu above?  It should work if you do.  The words you have quoted should have the word quote in brackets on either end of the quoted statement.  Am I making any sense?

I hope so.  Let me know if it still doesn't work and I'll let someone more savvy than I take over.

Mum,

As we would tell our children, "Good Job" !! :D  I knew you could do it.

I can't believe I actually taught someone how to do something on the computer.  That is a first and something my children would be proud of, since they usually have to do everything for me (they gave up trying to teach me.  :? ).

Got that right!  I still can't do the stop watch or alarm function on my watch (had it 6 mos) because my son hasn't had time to show me.....
Still can't figure out my sprinkler system contols either!
The list goes on and on.....hey, this should have been on the "What can't you do" thread..
Thanks again
