Title: "Voicelessness"--the irony of it all!

When I first became aware of the internet--with all of its potential--I suddenly realized that we women no longer need be 'voiceless'.
We could now be heard!!
How does all of that fit with
 the term "voicelessness'? :?:
(PS.  I've just joined this discussion--am looking forward to learning alot from this board.)
