Thank you, everyone!  What a nice surprise!  I had a great birthday--my 50th. 

One thing about life.  It can change on a dime.  In the last two weeks, I started dating a very nice widower who loved his wife of 30 years and has a great relationship with his grown children.  So far, not a single sign of narcissism.  (And believe, me, I've memorized the list!)    :D  Also, I got a new job teaching at a community college.  So, after reaching the half century mark, I'm feeling a sense of optimism about the future.  That is the best birthday gift ever!
