Hi seasons, I can feel threatened by all manner of things, especially words written down without the benefit of seeing the person writing. Do you want to repeat any part of this poem? If it was me, I might feel that I didn't need someone telling me what to do with my life, if I'm happy with my life. I might not like someone telling me they don't think I have enough female friends...on the other hand, maybe the poem was an expression of her appreciation of her friendship with you?? Could that be possible?
Sometimes people say things to me that they mean as compliments or expressions of what they feel, and I can take them as barbs aimed at upsetting me. Because that's what used to happen to me (what's this coming my way, what piece of manipulation is it kind of thing).
Did your friend say anything about her views of your life?
BTW you make lots of sense to me :D

hiya :D hey - me too, I'm working on it. Much easier to work on your interpretation than my own of me! True. So often folks here say something to me and I want to kick myself for not seeing it....but I can't, too close.
How about emailing your friend and asking for a copy? Because the file got deleted accidently (which is sort of true...)?
