Hey guys,
Remember a while back we started a jokes thread and threw out a few?
Portia told a joke about a parrot and I read it about 1,000 times, and I thought I knew what it meant, but wasn't sure, as Portia and some of you speak the King's English
So, while we have acetaminophen and ibuprophen in America... you guys have parocito - something. I was reading a novel by a British author this weekend and they had the word in there. It made me laugh remembering how I racked my brain to figure out that joke!!!!!
Just wanted to share that as an aside!!!!
Love, Beth

Speaking of King vs Queen,
You know we just had a baby prince born here in Japan. The country has been in a tizzy for years because a boy was not produced and they were worried they'd have to have an Empress. I guess it was only in 1947 that they decided only males could rule. Odd, I could see if it had been an old rule, but strange that it was made so recently.
