Title: Pet Foods Recall

This is the main site for information on a mass recall of many brands of wet [can or pouch] dog and cat food. These brands all used a contract manufacturer, apparently.

The important thing is that this appears to be acute renal failure which can in many cases be reversed with supportive therapy if caught in time.

This supposedly only affects North America, but anyone whose pet food might be shipped from the US [at the PX? Beth?] should check into these links too.

Posting here because at least one friend of mine in realspace had heard nothing about this until I contacted them...

I hope that all of your pets are safe.
We were fortunate not to have received any tainted food here.
