I think I have reached an area of major progress (though not completely, I almost got on here and freaked about this issue a few days ago...).
One of my husband's dearest friends and his wife came to visit us. We haven't seen them for about 4 years. I have known his friend since the day I met my husband (I met them together) and he is like a brother.
When I saw them last, I was quite a bit less of a woman than I am now. :) So... what usually happens before someone comes to visit is that I get REALLY upset. I really worry what they will think of me and whatever shape I am in. I had a very little of that this time. Instead of worrying about me, I enjoyed seeing their kids and them. Alas, next week I have to get into a bathing suit as we are going to Club Med next week.
So I think this is good progress.
Thanks for listening!!!! Does anyone else have this issue?
Love, Beth

Oh I never have people over unless my house is perfect and it is never perfect so I never have people over. If anyone stops by it is horrible!

Oh yes, I wonder what people would think.
Main thing is I don't have people in, because I cannot close the bathroom door. They can but I can't

always enjoyed having people at my home. Pre XN people used to just drop by, which I liked. Enter Xn..........everyone stopped calling. Thankfully now that the word is out they have started to trickle back.

We entertain quite often. I have gotten to the point where I don't have the house perfect anymore. I just can't. People love to get together and they don't care that my house isn't perfect. I have also learned to focus on my guests instead of being a "Martha". It makes our friends feel more welcome. If the house has a few things laying around, my H will pick up. He always cleans up after a party. I work hard to put it together, and he cleans up.
As far as a swim suit Beth, they make great cover-ups! They also came out with swim shorts or bermudas. We have no reason to stress over putting on a swim suit anymore. Enjoy Club Med. We have been to those all-inclusive resorts and they are so wonderful. My H takes complete care of the boys and I get to relax. He will grumble now and then...but he does it.
