Title: saw old friend
Post by: robyn52 on May 04, 2007, 01:13:02 PM
Hi.  I thought I was over my friend.  I hadnt seen her for 5 years and I just ran into her at a store.  She was in front of me in line and when I realized who it was I ran.
Found another line and watched her leave.  Got out to my car shaking and crying.  What happened??  I thought I was past all that.

Welcome, Robyn.

Can you tell us more about you? Then we can understand what happened with your friend, and support you better.

I'm sorry you're grieving and so hurt.

We're not afraid of pain here, we'll try to help.
At the very least, we can listen...

And reassure you that you're not alone.

Hopalong

Hiya Robyn,

I know it hurts to lose a friend.  We were just speaking of this on another post not to long ago.
I'm sorry. It has happened to me also.  If I see my friends car parked at the store I have to go into I will wait and go another time.

Love
Deb

I saw a woman that I had worked with that had been horrible and demeaning walk into a store I was in.  My body started shaking, I hypervenelated and couldn't speak.  I unlocked a side door to the store and escaped.  I felt like I was going to throw up.  That was my body reacting to many years of abuse from a person that would never admit she did anything wrong.
