My brother in law and his entire family are narcissistic.
Last night, he, my sis in law (hubby's sister) and we, went to a picnic at a friend of bil's.
At the picnic, couples were being romantic, hugging, kissing, etc. walking hand in hand. I finally convinced my husband that I'd like to have him just put his arms around me while we watched fireworks. He did so, but also started grabbing my chest.
I said to him "honey, don't do that here."
At that, N bil, seated in front of me, looks up at me and says sarcastically, "that's what men consider ROMANTIC! You tell him not to grab your breast...he's gonna say F*** this and not touch you at all...is THAT what you want?!"
(my first thought was HOW DAAAAAAAAAAARE YOU! My second thought was, "TYPICAL") this man's entire family and he, seem to think they have a right to comment and control ANYONE who happens to cross their path

rellyME.....
Blech. The word "innapropriate" kept coming to mind.
I also felt stirrings of the yearning and hope I used to feel in my marriage. I wasn't ever going to have what I wanted and needed. My In Laws aren't functional people either and staying in that mess was like choosing insanity.
Trying to behave normally and raise children well around all that craziness..... and pretending it wasn't craziness. It was making me craszytoo.

Laura,
I think we may have the same family members or at least I have been to picnics with them. Been there done that, same thing, different date.
This was my biggest peeve.
Don't do that. Everyone is sitting here. I don't like that. Why not they are mine they belong to me.
Um, I don't remember my H growing his breast on my body. THEY ARE MINE.

WOW-- Laura-- I am sorry. That must feel like a huge violation.I bet that you just wanted to sink in to the ground.
What the people do around you is not a reflection of you. I can tell what kind of a person you are by your posts.
You try to live your life with dignity and integrity. No Boob( I meant the person) can take that away from you Love Ami

RM, damn. Really. Shoot!
You, sweetie, deserve simple love and affection, not domination and obliviousness.
I don't know that you're going to get it, in these relationships in your life, but hon,
I sure wish it for you.
You deserve to be just plain loved.

If my N-BIL said that to me, my immediate response back at him would be "F@#K Off! AND give him the finger too!

Just a thought...does any woman on this board know of another woman (or themsleves) who has ever claimed that a man's willy is 'hers'? Why do men do this ownership thing? Why don't women do it?
Janet

Janet,
No I have never ever claimed another mans Willy was mine yet they did make a point of telling me that their Willy belong to me but failed to tell me some other people too! So I don't know why they do ownership they take it and appoint it.

Not meaning to sound crass here, but I always tell "Mr Wonderful" that I feel "there is nothing UGLIER than a naked man." I can't stand to see him laying there on the bed with no clothes on...men look like they have some sort of little animal on top of them, when they are laying on their backs, nude, and I certainly do not claim ownership of it either.
(he gets mad when I don't act like it's really SOMETHING and really DESIRABLE, like I guess a woman's body is to "men" naked.) It's gross to me. I'm more attracted to a man who is dressed and looking neat and clean...but, that's just ME.
He can KEEP the willy to himself for the most part, unless he also has the HYGIENE to go along WITH it.

P.S. onto my former post...I also cannot STAND a man in white briefs. I have threatened to dye every single last white pair of his underwear, cause I find them so repulsive and "showy." I plan to buy some RIT dye as soon as possible!
