Title: My daughter and me in a game---
Post by: isittoolate on July 20, 2007, 01:40:40 AM
--a word association game.

I know what will addict her and sent her this link:

http://jayisgames.com/archives/2006/09/funny_farm.php (http://jayisgames.com/archives/2006/09/funny_farm.php)

I was playing a lot yesterday, when I discovered it,  and in my evening, her late night, she sent me what she had accomplished-- we now have our games meshed.

Tonight she sent me her results, in case I had problems (poker players) and I sent her mine (magazines and comic books)

How nice! 68 and 43 sharing a game.

Love Izzy

Edit--I am also watching a movie and how the English managed those heavy dresses and bustles and whatever else when in the throes of passion!==lots of rustling going on!

That is nice, Izzy!  I marked the game to favorites to show my daughter when she returns from band camp tomorrow. I have missed her!
Thank you  :)  She may enjoy trying this on her laptop and I on my pc.

And lol at all that rustling!!
Have a wonderful day  8)

Love,
Hope

 Izzy,

Is this the daughter you have had trouble with?  If so, sound like bridges being built.  Hooray!

Yes mo4
--and another email waiting this morning from her with more answers and she asked me how on earth I knew a certain answer.-- we played games a lot when she was growing up.

I knew this one was down her ally, so sent the URL. Makes for one topic emails but we're working rogether. Loved it when she said she was addicted already.

Hi Hope,
I am trying to reconnect with my daughter after an estrangement that began in 1991---cannot be too careful.

Hi spyralle

You can't get the game?----meaning--you never lived on a farm with a goat, sheep, tractor, chicken, horse, cow, farmer, barn, pig, cowboy bull, BS, ox, hen,....................need more ideas? I am here.

Yes these 'thinking' games are addictive to me and to my daughter. I knew she would like it, so it is the only conversation, like she asked how I remembered the "soylent green" It was a movie she watched MANY years ago. We require pleasant contacts right now!!

Thanks again

love
Izzy

Ox!!!!!!  Damn I never even thought of that..  What is a BS...  See...I never lived on a farm...  Just in a street and course it was in the UK so there were no cowboys..  Apart from the TV and my dad who never acknowledged that I was in the world but was convinced that he was John Wayne!!!!!!

LOL spyralle

at the OX and the BS.

The blue line connects Bull to a 2 letter word. I was frantic and typed in bullshit and it came up in the  game as BS--pure accident.

I haven't been at it all day--been here and music and working etc.

No book yet!

Thank you for your faith in me!

Thanks, Izz...I send it to my D, whom I beat by 62 points at Scrabble this week (Hops said modestly).

BTW, all, Hairspray is a joy. I esp. loved the opening number because I lived in Baltimore.

(((((CB)))))

You urban tiger, you.

 :)

Hops

PS--I took my D to see The Secret Garden on Broadway for her 12th birthday...bliss! I got more addicted to the CD than she did. Once you hear Mandy Pantinkin in a duet with another tenor, blasting She Has My Lily's Hazel Eyes...you're a goner. Hope you'll check it out. The CD is just wonderful even if you haven't seen the show.

Hi CB

Exchanging files and working on this together is great. However I spent so much time here and on my music site and watrched a movie that I didn't get at the game so no exchange last night.

I hope we still keep it up--oh I did receive one from her yesterday morning. All is fine but I had better find a few more answers to share. It's a matter of stick-toitiveness no matter the topic.
