Title: Just wondering
Post by: alone48 on October 21, 2007, 11:23:41 AM
I believe that I am a fairly intelligent person, but hve come to realize that when it comes to N's they will always win the battle of words. I can argue my point with so called normal people and even if I don't prevail, I also don't feel stupid when all is said and done. Does this strike a cord with anyone?

Hi Alone48-

Yes! It always seems that the Ns do not want to get to the heart of the matter, and have no scruples in changing facts, etc, and making personal attacks. Trying to work something out with Ns feels  for me like herding cats (or worse)!!!

Love,

Changing

N's always have to have the final word.  My mother's favorite line is,

"Well, I hope you're happy."  Right before she storms off and slams the door.  That was her reaction when I said I was taking my son and my dog and moving.

Or the variant is:

"You're just doing this to hurt me."

Tayana -

So sad that you have heard these tired lies instead of love and encouragement. "I hope you're happy"  really means- "I'll make you pay for this" and "You are just doing this to hurt me" really means "How dare you do something healthy for yourself and not let me hurt you anymore."

The heartless N twists. As Ami says, BLEEH!

Love,

Changing
