Have not come across this thread.

Noticed on the site they endorse the following book ...

Emotional Blackmail When the People in Your Life Use Fear, Obligation, and Guilt to Manipulate You by Susan Foward

Personally, 2 years ago, when I purchased and read this book - it was immensely impactive.  Brilliant book that I highly recommend, likewise, as do multitudes of survivors out there.

Released me from the Emotional Manipulative Negative behaviour bounced onto me through F ear O bligation G uilt

The liberating knowledge of   F O G   --- it was as if the veil of enmeshment lifted and the F O G  cleared
and quite literally - I could begin to see ... and find my way out.

Yes the book and website you mentioned are wonderful. I've read and visited those too.

Some other info you might be interested to know...I'm working on writing a book or booklet (not sure which yet) of my own.  It's called Control-artisans and the Bible.

I've been typing chapter 1 today and am about to start #2. 

I am hoping to find out how to get this published, since I don't know the first thing about it.  Any info would be appreciated all.

Apparently, it really isn't too difficult to get a book or booklet published (thats my understanding).

What do you mean exactly by Control-artisans and the Bible?

Do you mean the 'Patriarchal System' ?

Or are you referring to the harsh scripture manipulative methods of control upon innocent unsuspecting believers.

i.e. The Shepherding Movement and so on.

Genuinely interested.

Well, basically, it's a book or booklet (not sure which till it's done) about those people in life who are the narcissists, control freaks, and comparing them to the Bible
and eventually i think I'll talk about Biblical ways of perceiving and handling communication with these types of folks.

I think I am going to talk about bosses, parents, adults, leaders, ministers...not sure yet where it will all go...just writing and writing.
