You give such a lot to this forum - I hope you get lots back, through all the days ahead. And I hope your 'broken heart' is stronger for all the pain it's been through.

Yesterday, another birthday spent alone in my home, and yet, did not feel lonely at all, not one bit.
Beautiful cards, obviously chosen with care, arrived in the post, the thoughts expressed and love enclosed filled my heart with joy,
and filled my eyes with warm tears, tears of gladness; from a real inner joy, peace and happiness.
E-cards and e-mails added to this serene inner happiness.
Added to which my lovely birthday greeting here on the board from such dear friends.
Yesterday, when I arose from my cozy slumber, I chose to 'see' the "glad" things about my birthday - and not the "sad"
That's what truly makes the difference - it's the choice we make each day.
