Title: Thanks at Thanksgiving
Post by: changing on November 21, 2007, 11:32:01 AM
I want to thank everyone for their kindness and support , helping me change my life for the better, making me laugh and cry, giving me much-needed direction, and being there in my darkest hours!!! I also want to thank Dr. Grossman for this Board- I am a person without support from a family of origin, and your generosity in providing the Board has been of immeasurable help, and the best thing to happen to me in my journey to find a true voice and emotional freedom. Thank you all and have a happy holiday.
Love and Peace,
Changing

((((Changing))))))))))))))
I also want to add thanks to all of you who let me grow here and become so much stronger (and lose that dreadful guilt). Thank you for being here and listening and caring.
I also want to thank my Higher Power for giving me the wonderful family I enjoy, a safe and secure home, health, love.
Love, Beth

Likewise, I am without support of a family of origin, and with sincerity, would like to say "Thank You" to everyone, for your kindness and encouragement, and also, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Dr Grossman for making this board possible.
May your Thanksgiving Celebration be a time that brings into your hearts; love, peace, hope and joy - for all your days ahead.
From my heart, I give thanks to the Lord my God, for being my strength and guide, as I looked to His understanding, with true faith and trust, in Him alone, through Christ - in whom I have my freedom.
May God Bless You All.
Sincerely yours,
Love, Leah

Thanks to all of you so much for all of your support. I have had such a journey out of the darkness in the past year - and it would not have happened without you (and without this board).
Much love, Peace

I am so thankful for so much. The people on this board (who truly got me out of where I was) to God for knowing what and where and who. I was thinking as I cleaned my house yesterday that I know my life would be so much different if I had gotten that job I had obsessed about last year-I know I would not be in this lovely home. My house sold and I was obsessed with that-again thank God! Thankful for my many blessings! Thankful for the chiro whom I am going to in see for my aching back!

I am so thankful for this board, to you all and to Dr. G. also. I'm very grateful and it is humbling. I feel so much admiration and respect and affection for everyone here, for surviving, fighting, escaping, thriving, working it out, figuring it out and sharing so freely, but above all I'm thankful for the incredible feeling of not being alone and feeling that willy nilly I have to wear the 'black hat' and beg others to let me take it off. It's hard to even say these words because it runs against the longstanding fear that that offering something like this will be rejected - even this is progress and I thank you all for it. And thank you in advance for all the learning I'm planning on doing here.

I know that gratitud is the beginning of healing. I am forcing my self to say thanks for having my legs, and my eyes, and my son is healthy.
But it is like the maffia, you thank them (in the movies) because they allow you to leave, because they could brake your legs. So here I am I have to be grateful because god did not take my legs.
Please do not get mad at me.
Izzi do not get mad at me.
Thank you God because I can walk but must of it because my son is fine. Thank you because my son is fine.
