Title: My beautiful girl
Post by: axa on December 13, 2007, 12:04:19 PM
Today is the fifth anniversary of my daughter's death.  I want acknowledge my missing and loving of her here amongst friends.  I want to share how blessed I was to have such a beautiful, wise and loving girl in my life.  I want to say I miss the sound of her voice, I cannot remember it any longer, I miss her smell, her sassy mouth, her unbelievable compassion and her black, black humour.

Today is hard.

((((((((((((((((Axa)))))))))))))))))))

rocking, rocking ... tears ... you MUST have a hug today.
How do we find you a hug? (Maybe I'm projecting. I want to hug you.)

Bless you and bless her, all day and always.

And when the funny memories get to the surface,
I would be overjoyed to hear about her   humor ...

Black humor 'R US!

God, I love kids. Especially wry mouthy philosophical kids.

Like yours. I'm smiling just to think of her saying things so funny + bad
that you can't decide which one wins, but your lifeforce says LAUGH.

What a GIFT she was. I am so glad she was your child. She knew how
absurd life is, how ridiculous to be human, and took her ticket and took her ride...

love love love

Thank you all for your hugs......... they do cross cyberspace.

I did some good things today.  Went to meditation for an hour at 7 this morning...... peaceful and gentle.

Went on a roller coaster........scary for me, but she loved them......... she owes me Big Time!!!!!

Had lunch with some college friends

Made dinner for some other friends.

Lovely phone call from my son

Lovely phone call from her Dad - (not XN)

Shed tears, feel grateful for her, you, me.

Hope I sleep tonight. - tomorrow is another anniversary, I will post that tomorrow.

Dinner with friends.... a quiet discussion with her father.... meditation.

::looking forward to tomorrow's story::

Sleep well, ((Axa))

Axa,

I'm so encouraged by the way you remembered this day with friends and meaningful activities.  Yours is a beautiful grief, if that makes sense.

I am thinking of you this evening, as the day winds to a close.  Hold your sweet one close in your memory.

Much love,

CB

I am so sorry for your loss still. I cannot imagine losing a child. Know that she is looking upon you with love and sweetness and misses you too. Try to believe that in spite of the separation, you were blessed to have had her with you. I know it must have been tremendously hard to go through her death.

I send you love and warm thoughts to make it through this time.

Love, Beth
