Title: 1st Anniversary
Post by: axa on December 14, 2007, 08:37:03 AM
Lets pop the champagne and dance................... today is my first anniversary from XN and I wanna sing BORN FREE La la la la laaaa la

To celebrate I went for an early morning face and neck massage.........so lovely and what a treat.

Oh guys, little did I think this time last year that so much has happened in the year.  Can I bore you guys with my list AGAIN.  I want to see it in print and share it with you.  Axa is a happy bunny.

Ok, before I dumped psychoN I was depressed, scared, no confidence, unemployed, thinking I was heading for the psych ward, smoking like a trooper, using wine to medicate the pain, isolated........... I could just go on and on.

Today I feel content, grounded, dare I say kinda happy, easy with myself.  This changes at times, I go through difficult times but 90% of the time I feel GOOD

For the Newbies

Since I left him (I thought I would die with his "love"and would not be able to manage anything)  I

Travelled half way round the world for a trip in India

Took part in a half marathon ( I am a couch potato)

Made a collection of paintings

Left my home and community

Moved to a new city

Cashed in my savings plan and went back to university for a post grad degree

Learned how to take of myself - sometimes I am very good - sometimes I am very bad

Stayed away from Ns

Confronted people - well does 2  count - who I felt were being abusive to me and did not did not rescue them when they started the games

Live alone - happily

Learned to drive in a busy city

Made new friends

confronted my "you are not good enough demons" and submitted my first paper on time

Learned that I love learning

Dream of doing a phd

Dream of having a tiny house in Italy

Dream of speaking Italian

Don't know where I am going other than completing this year at university but I trust all will be revieled

Have no desire to be in a relationship - first time ever!

Like me, sometimes even love me

Thank you Janet, I do feel a little smug today but no doubt life will hit me in the rear end as usual and I will come down to earth but enjoying this bit.  I bloody deserve it!

Axa,

Celebrating your one year with you, plus your happiness and accomplishments.  I'm really glad you listed this again, plus your new accomplishments.  I was going to search your previous posts the other day for your first listing because I was needing some inspiration, so I'm really glad to see your posts !
