Title: A boundary violation
Post by: Overcomer on December 16, 2007, 10:39:08 PM
Wonder what you think.  My mom called and told me my nephew was in town and wanted to come over and see the house.  My D and I were out to eat after church so I told her to go on over-my H would let him in.  She said no she would wait until I got home and please pick up some food for my nephew.  She then told me her friend was at her home and she would come too.  I said no-the house is not clean enough for guests-only Nick could come.  Well they arrived ten minutes later and in walls Betty!

Even after I said no she still brought her over.  What could I say?  I had to be gracious and maybe Betty insisted but doesnt no mean no?
