Merry X-mas! My internet is finally working!!!!!!
I reconnected my cable in Sept but the internet wasn't working and the cable company wouldn't discuss my account with me because when I connected it they put my account under my mother's name and sent the bills to her. How crazy is that??? I finally learned that by going to the office rather than calling that I could get things straightened out. What a relief. How nice it is to be back here.
Merry Christmas to all - GS

Thank you all. What a truly blessed place this is - that I can disappear and come back a few months later - not be forgotten - and be welcomed back so graciously and warmly and sincerely. Thanks so very much. It feels so good to have a place where I belong.

(((((((((GS))))))))) I did miss you, and think of you often when dealing with my "stuff." I've been very happy to hear of your progress, I know it's momentous!
(((((((((Besee))))))))))) I wish you a Merry Christmas too, and hope that your pain might be relieved by some simple beauty or music...

So glad to hear from you both Besee and Hops.
I am so glad Besee that some of my sharing was helpful.
Hops, I think of you daily as I continue to sort through more piles - making progress but paying a big price. IRS has come a calling concerning old, old tax returns from the year my husband died - that's a merry bleak midwinter - isn't it. But also motivation for overcoming piles.
