Title: will you all pray for this lady
Post by: write on January 25, 2008, 12:36:01 AM
she turned up in my inbox when I was trying to reach someone else, and her rudeness made me pay attention and ask why, she is being pressured to have sex with her landlady's husband & is on the poverty line and very angry she doesn't appear to have any choices right now.

I can't help her practically, she's in Canada, but she said nobody in this world cares, and that's not true is it. Some people do care just because...they care.

She is so angry and said 'you don't know what you're capable of' when I said I don't believe in violence; I suspect she is thinking of suicide though she is talking about a man who murdered people who he thought exploited him.

Dear Write,

Yes, I will offer up this lady in Canada, in prayer.

More importantly, I will cover you in prayer also.

With regard to 'soul connection - intrusion' and, guarding your soul.  (or heart, whichever phrase you prefer)

Love, Leah

Yes, I'm praying for a hedge of protection and a covering of the Lord over that lady and her family and I'm also commanding the enemy to keep his hands off her and her loved ones!

thanks everyone and don't worry Leah.

It's something I learned from Buddhism, the attachment is what hurts me.

But if the universe, G_d or whatever you want to call it sends a lost soul my way I know I am simply meant to respond, show love, and share the teachings I follow which have strengthened me at hard times.
What happens after that is G_d's...

I can't prevent someone from doing anything- even suicide or God-forbid murder- but that spirit of love in the universe, that has changed much and I can point that out.

If you have networks of people to pray please ask them to pray too.

Love to everyone

Dear Write,

I only meant the same as in Laura's prayer.

I am just no good at writing it.

I just can't write down what I am wanting to say, correctly.

To be honest, I am thinking of giving up.

Love, Leah

PS >>> 'giving up' as in Writing, only.

Why did I immediately respond to this prayer request?   Because, in my heart I truly felt led to do so.

Also, with an awareness, my heart wished to pray also, for the recipient of the prayer request.  Why?  Experience, led me to do so.

My heart has a love for people, unconditional love.

The same love, I hope, that Jesus Christ has for everyone.

Jesus Christ was not a wishy washy man on earth.  He spoke firmly, with love, unconditional, for the good, of those in his midst.

The book; In His Steps:  "What Would Jesus Do?" by Revd Charles Sheldon, was one of the first books that I purchased as a new believer in Christ.

Awesome fact is, that the recent listing of the Top 10 "Bestselling Non-Fiction Books" as at 2007 ranks this book at No.9

(No.1 is The Bible).

Personally, In His Steps: "What Would Jesus Do?" is best, for me.

To date, I have been led to prevent the loss of lives, at the brink of suicide, merely, sharing, from experience, if I may.

Love, Peace & Joy (((( Everyone ))))

yes, that is what it means I think- letting G_d ( however we variously perceive it ) flow through us to love others.

To date, I have been led to prevent the loss of 5 lives, at the brink of suicide.  Not boasting, merely, sharing, from experience, if I may.

you may.

When I was 16 years old I was asked to play for a church service and when i got there a severely depressed woman was playing too. We talked a little and she was shaking and in a bad way I could tell. I told a lady at my church about her and asked her history. Her husband had left her and she was severely depressed. A week later I got a call from the woman at my church- the depressed lady had hung herself from her own bed headboard. At any moment she could have stood up and lived, she just really wanted to die. I thought about her a lot for years, wondering if there was more I could have done, I had wanted to reach out to her but at that young age I didn't know how.

After that I always try to show love, I think we're meant to do what we can.

Well done for helping others at a desperate place.

Love

Dear Write,

Today, was thinking of this lady, during my prayer time, and prayed for her.

Just wondered, if you have heard from the lady, and how she is.

Thanks Leah.
Yes we have been corresponding, she seems calm.
She received a job interview the day after everyone started praying; she and I are writing an article together.

Thanks, Write

Truly glad to know that the lady is calm, and that you are corresponding.
The writing an article together sounds absolutely wonderful, so pleased, for you, both.
Will pray for the lady to receive a job offer, one that is just right, for herself.

Love, Leah
