Title: For Amber
Post by: cats paw on January 30, 2008, 06:51:21 PM
Amber,

I'm glad it's not goodbye, and I do understand spending less time here.  Thank you for sharing your/Twiggy's story.

Will be thinking about you spending that time in the sunshine.

Dear Amber,

Me, too... like Cats Paw said... all of the above. And I think that you are very, very wise. Thank you, always.

Love to you,
Carolyn

I began reading Twiggy today.  (I did not venture into Members' Stories until I started posting and I have not read any posts until I read Twiggy today. - too difficult for an unknown reason.)

I understand the issue of being stuck - no amount of determination and desire can overcome it.  I have found a couple of things I am trying to get past the stuckedness.  Two of the techniques are on the Emofree.org website.  Here are the links:

http://www.emofree.com/tutorial/tutormthirteen.htm
http://www.emofree.com/articles/psychological-reversal.htm

I am determined to get past my stuckedness.  I want you to get past yours also - I want more and more of us to get past stuckedness.  I need to know that it can be done - that I can do it.

I am powerfully struck that you Shunned, preceded Twiggy.  It gives me an idea about myself.  I think that the person "I want to be" is the person who existed before she was completely bound into the person I am.  I don't have a name for her but I am going to try to separate the two of us and work on reverting to and tapping into the strength and convictions taht belonged that person who I once was.

Thank you -

look into the reversal.  Consider trying listing each and every memory.  I am creating a worksheet and keeping a notebook to list any and every thing that comes to mind.  Then I am going to systematically work through each and every one.  I want out of this dark closet.  I want to be free.  I want you to be free.
