When you pulled your thread,it reminded me of what I used to do as a child. I minimized MY abuse b/c there were people with much '"worse"abuse. There were orphans, kids in war zones etc.
 However, MY abuse was still abuse and was still  valid and important.
 Your church choices, your rejection for being divorced, your son's rejection from his F are NOT less important b/c of Scott!
