~~~that came from that man who I told to please not send long stemmed ones, if he is sending flowers, as I cannot handle them.
At the sink, too high at counter, At the table is back and forth to the sink with one of my nice vases--
This year I expected something different, such as a lower plant with ivy or a philidendron, and fresh flowers mixed in. (My sister sends things like that to me.)
The flowers arrived and I 'whined' to the nice lady about "OH NO" he sent long stems again, so she was so sweet.
She asked for a vase and arranged them for me and I saw she knew what she was doing. Bet they last longer than any I have had. I've never done what she did.
Some people are really so very nice and accommodating.
I Loved that
Iz,
Someone taught me if I spray that *Freeze Hair Spray* when they are bloomed that they will last much longer so I tried it and it worked. That's if you want them too last a long, long time. (lol)
Now that is interesting, Deb,
I am going to keep these, as the delivery gal did them, add water when it gets low, or toss them, whichever comes first.
I really feel sorry for flowers that are growen for fancy occasions!
xx
I bet that nice lady extending herself.... was nicer than the flowers: )
Would have been sad for the roses, had she not.
Missed this-
you are right, lighter,
having her do that for me was a wonderful gesture and I wasn't even looking at the flowers but was paying attenyion to the 2 of us. Wonderful
i did say the flowers were beautiful though, as the business is "Mom and Me Flowers" and what if she was MOM or ME?
right?
