Title: Techincal help needed

I just wrote a post and forgot and tried to edit it while in the preview mode. I do not have the time to recreate it and it was really important. Does anyone know, is there a way to get it back? Or has it disappeared? Thank you.

You can try to use the back button on your computer, or maybe look at your history.  But my experience has been that it is gone.

Hi Lily

Yes, if you were trying to edit the preview, instead of the message window, it will disappear and using the back button WILL take you back to your message, as CB said. It is NOT lost!

But the one you mention is likely lost now!

One trick is to highlight your message, Copy and you have that to begin again when you Paste, if you find you are totally lost.

Dear Lily...that has happened to me so many times...it is really frustrating, not?

Eventually I learned to copy my posts before I try to submit them in case the board has gone down while I was writing or my login expired.

So sorry :( I know how that is.

Unfortunately, it's lost. The back button didn't work, I don't save history on my pc

Am I allowed to say this s____s? So typical of the last 48 hours.

And may I say d___. It's the editor and the perfectionist in me that made me lose it. It was all ready to go, I was just being a perfectionist (to seriously reference CH's thread) and reading it one last time before posting.

((((((Lily)))))) been there. I'm sorry, it really is frustrating!  Mostly I'm sorry to have missed that post you were working on!

Maybe a helpful tip...
if you're working on a longer post or one that's really important (as in - I'd hate to have to try to recreate this!)....

what I do is type it up on wordpad or notepad, where it's not susceptible to burps and blinks...
then copy and paste it here when I'm done.
