Title: Certainly not voiceless!!

I know this isn't a board topic, but I just had to share --

WOW!!! There was just a HUGE fight between two women here -- a vp and a salesperson
(very big seller). I heard a scream, they went out through the lobby one hot on
the heels of the other ...

then my friend came out frantically looking for our boss

Then the president came around and told someone X & Y are in a ... then we both
said "cat fight."

After he left I realized that's just what it looked like -- when the baby kitty
was persecuting Uncle Fester and used to fly after him with a demonic look on her face.

A few minutes later the prez came through the lobby laughing and said "It's
always something around here, isn't it?"

Just found out it was so bad that the prez is calling his boss!!! Must be big. Don't
know the details yet, but my friend was in the middle of it. She'll tell me all
later. My boss (he's the salesperson's boss) does NOT look happy!!!

It's just very unusual because people always are very adult around here and work their issues out in a very reasonable way -- more than any other place I've worked. Something I've always liked about here.

...Wow!!! It was just like the old cat fights with Alexis and anyone on Dynasty! My friend was right in the middle of it. She thought it was going to get physical.

Hi Lily-

I hope everything has calmed down, and things worked out...I know that you love peaceful and intelligent interactions, as you mentioned, and hope that your workplace returns to its formerly stable and enjoyable state. If not, you can model proper behavior there.

Thanks, ladies.

It was actually a lot of fun. They were just so dramatic -- my friend and I had fun with it all day long. I sent her clips of catfights from "Dynasty," the theme song, etc. It broke my tough mood of the last many weeks. Felt good all weekend!

I checked out the "Irma La Douce"  CD from the library and thought of you and your work situation during the catfight scene- very funny!

LOL!!! I really like that movie. I think it's one of Shirley McClaine's best.

...the fight is all the talk today -- women AND men! (Mostly people just think it's funny. Since very few people were here, most wish they had seen it.)

Life is always interesting around here, that's for sure!!
