I'll call you Biddy, since I don't want to call you "Bad"!
Is that okay? (If not, I'll just respect your name as you chose it. I'm too bossy but am happy to be corrected.)
You are very articulate and it's great that you're writing out your story.
I'm sorry for all you've been through. The collusion of your parents seems like the hardest part. Having even ONE emotionally clear parent can really make healing so much easier. When they're locked in their toxic waltz the child feels like so much sawdust on the dance floor.
But you can heal nonetheless. Right now, it sounds as though you need to drain the anger (for as long and it takes), before you can release the past.
Makes sense. That seems to be the way it works for everybody.
You'll find good company for the journey here. And surges forward, leaps, comfort for the times you feel stuck.
Welcome.

Oh! You guys are so sweet! Biddy is fine! I had to come up with something and that has always been the way they made me feel.
I was just thinking of writing more -- it's hard isn't it?
You are so good to welcome me -- it makes me want to cry! In a good way!
Love,
Biddy

Hi Bid,
Welcome!! I once said this felt like my neighborhood (my kid growing up) where I bonded with people who had always stayed in my heart and life (even if some moved on). They just don't leave you. They are there forever. Someone touches your heart and your life. Someone that made you smile. Someone who understood you. So much understanding. So much Ah ha!, cheerleaders, shoulders to cry or go on a rant...Boy I have had many of rants.
But most of all...I feel bonded to people here as much as I did in childhood and my adult life (my friends). The people here are a huge part of my life and will always be (part of me).
So again..Welcome Friend.
Love
Deb

Welcome, Biddy! Hopalong gave you a good name. I'm glad you like it.
I also came from another site, listened for a while and waited to jump in. (I was so afraid of rejection after having felt it from my N's.) But each time I ventured out there, everyone was kind.
I've felt safe here and hope you will too.
((hugs))

Hi, Baddaughter...
sometimes it's "good" to be "bad" - especially if you are creating a boundary between you and crazy parents! :D Sounds like you have quite a lot to say. Take your time, no pressure... and in the meantime, you can still chat with us about other things, right?
