Having read this author's book (The Gift of Fear) many years ago, I was pleased to see his interview on Oprah recently, and still more pleased to learn about his the Mosaic Threat Assessment System.

Horrifying program but so important.

The system is sexist to the bone--comes directly out of our culture.

I read his book years ago too and it was great. I am glad to see he looks so healthy and well rested considering his work.

That mother who survived was magnificent. What courage, what a will to live, god bless her. I thought they did not give her enough time to speak. How did she manage to survive after the physical wounds healed.

His forty eight warning signals and questions are really good. Thought provoking and right on. I hope lots of people take that questionnaire.

There are probably people who come here who have been through such things. I imagine they take a very long time to trust anyone or anything. I hope they feel safe here and listened to.

Fascinating website. I found out from the Oprah site that the test is free. Where's the 'FREE' in big letters on the site I asked myself, as you do.

The site was swamped and overloaded several days ago,a nd does appear to be free.

As of yesterday the system was able to respond, and complete, Threat Assessments.

I'm hoping Dr. G will add this site to the top of the board.

This is an important tool for victims of dv.
