I think it's my 5th year here, unbelievably. [thanks CB, I'm terrible w/dates!]
I feel very grateful for all the people here. The kindness, response to loneliness, sympathy in loss, compassion for pain, encouragement for healing -- has been nearly endless.
There are individuals who have reached in and changed my life. And busy people who have paused for a quick word of comfort or hope. And others who have just read, upping the number of views, which just the same increases my feeling of shelter here.
Being heard, being taught, being tolerated, being inspired, being given to so generously.
Thank you, Doc G, for this extraordinary mitzvah -- and all readers and writers here.
Happy Thanksgiving!
love,
Hops

And the same for me :) Well said, Hops!

Hops, *only* 4 years? Seems much much longer (I think time has passed strangely for me in the last four years).
Gratitude now.

Yes I was thinking that just today.
Thank you so much, Dr. G. I dont really know where else we could have gone to get this kind (and intensity of) support. The combination of always being there, being available for sometimes long periods at a time....not reproducible!
And thanks to all of you here, and to all who used to be here! Maybe you alumni come back from time to time to check on VESMB...if you do, please know that I appreciate you very very much.
And Hopsy, I think its been 5 years for you, 4 for me...Hard to believe.
Love

Thanks, Hops, Mud, Twoapenny, Guest, Bones, and CB. Your words made my day.
And, of course, thank you (and many others) for making this such a wonderful "place"...

I am very grateful for this place.
Thank you Dr. G.

I'm adding my 2 cents worth as well - Thank you.

Big thanks and hug to everyone from me, too!
When I was still chained to a computer at work, this cyber group of very real 3-D people became my home away from home; the place I knew I could retreat to and have the caring & support I needed to "carry on". I've learned so much here from all of you and hope I've been able to give "as good as I got"!! You all have helped change me and helped me know how I wanted to change... and to carry it out.
Thanks much.

And a big thank you from me too.
I have found strength, love, compassion, understanding, hand holding, wisdom, hind sight, ah-ha's, how to grow fig tree's, netti pots (which is great), laughter, recipes, conflict, song's, letting go, forgiveness, and the most amazing people ever.
Thanks Dr G.

Thanks, Lupita, GS, PR, and Debkor--you help make this a very special place.

Just back in town, Doc.
