Mickey 17

Mickey 17 made me sad...one part killed my buzz.  Wouldn't spend big money to see in theatre, that's for sure.  Wait till it's streaming is my advice.

Moves painfully slow, in parts.  Veered off the map halfway through.  Political references were comic relief.....the prayer was lol funny.  Female characters were odd and poorly written, imo.

Be prepared to be offended....one elderly lady walked by, fit to be tied, with her grandson (I think) apologizing (and laughing) as they exited the theater.  I think it was the obvious jab at the Trump character, but could have been the "sauce" or poke at religion.  So many upsetting things to be upset by, IME.

We expecting more clone centered plot.  The first half was clone forward.  Second half, not so much.....veered into alien bug territory.

We saw it yesterday, Lighter, found it very boring, some people left part way through, I wanted to but son was enjoying it (only one film he's ever agreed to leave early lol).  Just too long, I don't know why so many films are so long now, ninety minutes is plenty.  Thought the critters were cute.  Sci-fi (if that's what it was! get confused with genres) isn't my thing anyway but I just found the plot wandered too much.  A lot seem to like that now.  Thought the one guy acting two parts was very good (won't give too much away) but yeah, definitely one I'd have preferred to sleep through.

The little critters reminded us of baby girl pug!!!  You can imagine the buzz kill parts, for us, hands to mouths, horrified!
