saving my son
« on: July 26, 2004, 02:22:35 PM »
I was married to an N for 17 years until I finally had the courage to divorce him last year.   Unfortunately, he is using the children as pawns.  He is seeking custody of my 14 year old son and my son wants to be with him.  He is using my son as his "partner" and I'm afraid that my son is enamored of him, but doesn't realize it.  I am fighting this, but because of laws, I know it will be a difficult road.   Does anyone have any suggestions...please help!

Jat,

I wish I had something useful to tell you. It sounds like you need a good family law attorney on your side.

Good luck and maybe someone else can post a site for more information with dealing with Ns during a divorce. I think it can get pretty hairy from what I've heard.
