Lighter, When I am feeling under attack, I pray through the Psalms.

The power of prayer is very real, I believe. To me, it's not a sending of good vibes, but a plea to the Creator of all to stand in the gap.

This is big stuff you are your little ones are facing.
That's why I say the following, now... it is time to clarify within yourself, whom do you serve?
If that's not settled within your own heart, there's no better time than the present.

Do you know that it is not written anywhere in the Bible that "God helps those who helps themselves" ?
Not anywhere.

You arent pulling your family into it.  Someone, or something, is pulling them in.  But it isnt you.

That's an important distinction, because you don't need any false guilt at this stage of the game.  There is a vortex of despair and it threatens to suck in everyone close by:  you, your children, your parents, your brothers and sisters, your friends.  You are not it's author or creator.  It is outside of you--it is other.

I resonate, it truly is the Outside of you - the other.  Of which, one can never have ownership.

One can only ever own one's inner self, wherein the answer resides.

The author is the Outside Person.

Runs in.... I'm here... Here Present.... Amazon ..... and really feeling Amazon today.....brushes off some Amazonish onto you..... you stand strong....everything, everyway you are handling things your children are learning from you.  It was a hellish funeral service today....Completely left my D out and my H was mentioned, like oh yeah and the son, now back to us,me, us...... and I turned and looked at my D and how she handled everything she was strong and to my    a warrior, an amazon, filled with strength and defended our family, her step dad.... and we didn't even have to do it with a confrontation.....Whoo hoo!  We just are....We are family and we stick together......and the rest.... well let them be ASSH***S..

But we are no wimps when there will be battle..and there will be....we will fight..!! As a family......

You will to Light...... and yes ... with some guilt that others are involved not just you.... but sometimes... it can't be helped......they know the fight (as mine do) and it is about family, rights, and taking  stand...scary as it may be...You must be a warrior now....

And I will be with you, if in mind only...supporting...and freezing up some Reese's peanut butter cups..for comfort...
And prayers for you not for strength because you already have that but for some comfort, rest, and peace...

And ask for some help....that is strength....to know when you need it...

I'm feeling steadier.... have made some decisions and in process of making others.

Sorry that you and yours have had to go through the uncivilized behavior at the funeral- the person who was the best of them is gone and you were there for her. Now you and your husband and children can go on, shake off the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and the attempted hurts from the Lilliputians. From a push hands & the "inner" tai chi Amazon:

soft defeats hard.

What this means, in practice, is when someone's coming at you with force & scary strength - you step aside; get out of the way.
If they push - you listen to their "intent"... follow their movement, their eyes... and when you've spotted the weakness, you quickly apply a neutralizing move, upsetting their "root" - making them lose balance. There are always infinite counters to any "attack", as long you maintain your "root" and your balance.

You don't have to be the most physically strong, the biggest or baddest... you only need to know your own strength, be perceptive, reserve a "plan b" - if plan "a" isn't effective...

and you have US watching your back for you, so you can concentrate.

I've been so lucky to have this forum's support.  As I get ready for bed, in another country, airline (I booked)on strike....I revisit this thread, and remember how important these voices were....still are. So familiar and comforting.  Truly.....feels like sitting by a fire, sharing wisdom and strength.

So many Amazons moved on, but, reading here, brings their voices back to me.

Changing, Izzy, CB, and Debkor....I remember you, your strength, and fellowship.  How extraordinary to walk with so many wise Amazons.

Tonight, I'll bring everyone to my tomato garden bonfire....my safe space, where all my parts and important people rejoice, dance and fly.

It seems right and good to do so, now.

It has me marking my calendar......what are the things I need to do....what can I do, now.
