Guess what my stb-exNh bought me recently - the book
Catch Me If You Can. Based on the true story of Frank Abagnale Jr., a successful con artist who managed to pass himself off as several identities and the FBI agent hot on his trail. That about sums up my stb-exNh's life. Goes along with the Theatophilia and living his life through my experiences, through my feelings and through my life. Very odd. Almost like he was telling me a message -
I'm not really who I appear to be.It is interesting that in all the time we were together my stb-exNh never walked his own walk with God. It was always through osmosis. At least that is what I have called it for years. He was NOT close to God rather he was close to my walk with God. Again the Theatophilia - living his life through my experiences rather than his own experiences. So he has the
appearance of walking closely with God.
And this reminds me of a con artist. Whose definition is
a swindler who exploits the confidence of his victim. That is definitely my Nh.
The osmosis definition is fairly appropriate as well.
