Name change
« on: March 01, 2008, 12:17:04 AM »
I hope I am posting this in the right place. Is there was a way to change my user name?

FYI:

Dr. Grossman also stated he is temporarily disabling new accounts.

I don't know how long that will last.

Keep that in mind if you delete your old account at this time.

Dear Free Thinker,

There is no need to delete your account and re-join.

In the 'Profile' section (see above next to 'logout') there is an option to change your screen 'Name'

your 'log in username' of Free Thinker will remain.

So for example, you would log on as 'Free Thinker' but may be known as your 'new screen name' of ' xyz '

ALL your postings remain with you as you have maintained your original account.

>  Go to the above Profile button

>  then left hand side of screen under Modify Profile select the option Account Related Settings

>  beneath username of Free Thinker there is a dialogue box Name [which is the name that people will see] where you can type in your new screen name!

>  scroll down to the bottom of the screen and enter your 'password' and then click on the 'change profile' button.

Look forward to knowing and seeing your new name!   :)

Love, Leah
