An interesting storyline for DONMs - is in Nashville Season 2 Episode 19 titled "Crazy" where we finally learn the origins of Scarletts shyness, lack of confidence and overall timid nature. Her NMother arrives in town and she is clearly traumatized by her visit and had an onstage meltdown. Scarlett lands in a "facility" where her Mother wants people to believe she is the crazy one. Check it out - I thought it was frightening, as I know this dynamic all too well.

The show can be found on Hulu.
