New song for the new year

I love music and have found a new song that gets me through every hard moment in my life now. This is by Bon Jovi, the best song for a recuperating voiceless person!

For those of you who remember my story - I turned to the open road and ride my Harley for my freedom from my past now! Hope this is therapy for others too.

I have always loved that song, but then I have a deep abiding love for Jon Bon Jovi himself! Seriously, the words are worth listening to, we should all try and live a bit more for ourselves. Resolution of the day!

Cadbury - I have learned one thing during the past year of soul-searching - I took myself WAY too seriously! My Nparents always wanted perfection and everthing else they insisted on. But I do not hear them anymore! I am living my life - cause....

Cadbury - because I am a chocoholic! In Britain we have Cadbury's or Galaxy as the two main milk chocolate providers, so we get gorgeous chocolate all year round!! I do give it up for lent though - and Cadbury's shares fall!!

Cadbury, that is so funny!

I'm just happy it's almost time for those delicious Cadbury eggs to appear on the shelves again!

Last year for Valentines day I knew H was dieting and would not eat all the candy I got him, but wanted to get some to show my love - heehee.

So instead of the valentines candy, I got the Cadbury eggs! They were out on the shelves and I knew I would get some of the candy - so - yummy! A bit self-serving - but we all got a laugh out of it. This year I'll get him something Harley Davidsonish since he's still dieting and his new bike is on its way. But I'll still bet me some eggs!

I love the song suggestion, and the other songs I've seen recommended elsewhere on this site. They are like positive affirmations but with the added power of music!

One I really like to sing is 'I want to break free' by Queen. I don't know all the words so I make up my own to suit myself!
