Quote Thingy Explained

To make the purple quote sections without purpling an entire previous post when you reply:

Hit reply to open your reply box.
Scroll down below to the message you want to quote from.
Highlight the part of the message you want to quote.
Paste it into your reply.
Highlight it AGAIN, and then hit the Quote icon (2nd from the right end, bottom row).
