Things to do while I am alive
« on: December 20, 2006, 08:11:43 AM »
I made this list last night and feel really excited about it.  Here goes

Go to India - booked my trip last night heading off in February

Make a garden - planted trees this morning

Learn to sail   - made a comitment with a friend to do a course in the summer

have a party in 2007

Climb a mountain

Make a collection of my paintings

Practise gratitude - thank you, thank you, thank you.

Practise awareness

Walk away from others anger

Keep away from Narcissists

Become a non smoker - hard but will do it.

Cook more

Learn a new skill every month - can be really small, size does not matter !!!!

Trust the universe - I am today

Look beneath my desires - what is it I am really looking for.

Watch my judgment

Be joyful - yes, today

Go to Vietnam

Laugh at myself

Be still

Wake up.

So there I go............. anyone else like to share a list of what they want to do while they are alive.

the cleaning calls.......... but I will do it with awareness and joy.

1.  Find a happy situation at work as far as my co-workers and having an amount of work that doesn't physically drain me

2.  Clean up and fix up our house so we can sell it in a couple years

3.  Buy an acre of wooded land and then built a log home on it

4.  Write a collection of biographies of figures from the history of my town

5.  Make a couple of close friends

6.  Go to Ireland

7.  Have grandchildren (yeah, I know that one is not within the realm of my influence, but I'm looking forward to it some day)

8.  When I retire, have a greenhouse or tree farm

That's about it for now.  I'd be happy with just a couple of them actually.
