Home again
« on: March 11, 2007, 03:00:00 PM »
Hi everyone,

Arrived back from my travels today.  It has been the most amazing experience.  The sights, sounds, smells all so different and wonderful.  I saw so much that it is difficult to process all of the experiences but in time will get around to it.  I missed you all and it feels good to be back "home" again.  Noticed lots of new people on here so Hi to all of you.  Glad to see some old familiar friends.  I light an oil lamp in one of the most amazing temples in an offering for peace for all on Voiceless - hope it works!!!

Jet lagged and tired but happy to be back.

Hops and SEa,

Yep India.  I really cannot describe the experience it was so overwhelming and wonderful, except for the crazy bus drivers.....

Colours, smells, adventures, jungle, temples, polite, polite people, great food, fun, and nobody controlling me.  I had forgotten how much fun I was but I really experienced the fun light side of myself that has been kept in check for a long time.

I was struck by how poor people were materially but they seem to have something many of us in the West have lost, a sense of community.

Great to be back with you all,

axa
